Did you know a business book adds depth to your profile like nothing else?
That a business book is a valuable “marketing brochure” for your revenue streams?
That content marketing is the way forward?

Meet Carolyn

Publishing Strategist for Business Experts

Clients describe Carolyn Monaco in three words: Experienced. Trusted. Hands-on

Here’s why: In 2007, Carolyn began working with business experts as Marketing Director for Harvard Business Review’s book division. There, she launched nearly 100 books with a wide range of gurus such as John Kotter, Gary Hamel, Marshall Goldsmith, and Tammy Erickson plus firms from Deloitte to BCG, Bain, and Forrester.

Since that time, Carolyn has been hired by business experts to design and implement book launches that accelerate business results.

Offerings include an integrated blend of branding fundamentals, publishing strategy, customized marketing plans, and platform development.

Carolyn’s firm is small by design to ensure the ample time and attention for each client. Her team—like so many entrepreneurial ventures today—is virtual. It features a small tribe of road-tested “super-specialists” who can step up and serve Carolyn’s authors as needed. (That tribe includes hands-on experts in PR, social media, speaking reels, websites, SEO, ghostwriting, book mailings, and more.)

Carolyn’s client list includes Fortune 300 CEOs, New York Times bestselling authors, professional service firms, consultants, entrepreneurs, academics, and over one-third of the Thinkers 50 list.

Monaco Associates Working Session

Previously, Carolyn’s career spanned 25 years in consumer marketing at a variety of magazines—such as The Atlantic Monthly, America’s Test Kitchen, INC, and Fast Company

Next, she co-founded a media company for Tufts University, building its health-related revenues to $6 million through product development and acquisition.

Then Carolyn joined Harvard Business Review’s book imprint as Marketing Director before establishing Monaco Associates.
